Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. in Maryland seeks a Lead Maintenance Tech to lead a multi-craft team in maintenance and repair of steam and power generation equipment, HVAC systems, and controls at the DC Water Cogeneration Facility.

You will plan maintenance, analyze risk, manage costs, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and coordinate with vendors and other departments. Approximately 50% administrative planning and 50% instrumentation and controls task execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 5+ years of power plant or I&C maintenance experience.
• Ability to read safety rules, data, operating and maintenance instructions, and diagrams.
• Strong communication skills for work orders and verbal instructions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Experience with analytical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assign daily maintenance tasks for the team.
• Provide feedback to management regarding team performance.
• Utilize Maximo to plan maintenance, track hours, and report status.
• Order parts to support preventive and corrective maintenance; manage inventory.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Instrumentation & Controls systems.
• Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Perform calibrations and testing of equipment; maintain calibration records.
• Diagnose system and equipment problems using troubleshooting skills.
• Install revisions or modifications to plant systems and update drawings.
• Interact with vendors and inter-departmental personnel to accomplish tasks.
• Follow all safety procedures and environmental compliance.
• Overtime may be required to support outages or vacations.
