Job summary

Constellation is seeking a Lead Maintenance Tech in Lusby, MD to head a multi-craft maintenance team for steam & power generation equipment, HVAC, and controls. The role emphasizes planning, safety, environmental compliance, and cost-efficient repairs to ensure reliable plant operation.

Approximately 50% of the time will be administrative/planning duties, with the remaining time on Instrumentation & Controls tasks including calibrations and repairs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, data, operating and maintenance instructions, one-line diagrams, ladder logic, and procedure manuals.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Basic computer skills with common software applications.
• Experience with analytical troubleshooting techniques and root cause failure analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assign daily work tasks for the maintenance team.
• Use Maximo to plan and schedule maintenance and track hours.
• Order parts and manage spare parts inventory for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Perform calibrations and testing of instrumentation and controls systems.
• Install revisions or modifications to plant systems and update drawings.
• Follow safety procedures and work with vendors to ensure quality and value.
