Reynolds American is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to install, test, calibrate, repair and maintain electrical/electronic control systems on high-speed manufacturing equipment in Winston-Salem, NC. The role involves troubleshooting process control systems and contributing to productivity and technology improvement projects while ensuring equipment reliability.

Key tasks include supporting PLC systems and industrial networks, repairing motor drives, and integrating robotics and advanced QC

Qualifications

• Associate degree or military equivalent in electronics/mechatronics/instrumentation or related field.
• 3+ years of electronics experience in high-speed manufacturing or process control environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for repairing complex electronic circuits and systems.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and industrial networks (Profibus, ControlNet, Ethernet).
• Diagnose and repair motor drive systems, including VFDs and DC drives.
• Install and maintain robotics and high-speed camera-based quality control equipment.
• Interpret engineering schematics, diagrams, and vendor documents to guide maintenance.
• Use diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes, VOM) to analyze and resolve complex electrical issues.
