Job summary

Alden Realty Services, inc. is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician III to service multiple locations in the Chicagoland area. The role reports to the Director of Property Management and Director of Maintenance.

Responsibilities include turning over apartment units and performing repairs across plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems. You will handle preventative maintenance, complete work orders promptly, and maintain safety and organization on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of proven maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and operate work vans.
• Certifications in related trades preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Flexibility including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Turnover of apartment units: perform repairs, painting, replacements, etc.
• Assess and troubleshoot plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues; engage vendors when needed.
• Complete work orders from property manager in occupied units and common areas.
• Oversee or perform preventative maintenance for building systems.
• Maintain inventory records and document job information via a mobile app.
