Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Maintenance Technician Specialist to support industrial material handling systems. You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot complex electrical/mechanical/PLC issues, and mentor junior technicians.

You will design training programs and collaborate with vendors and corporate teams to ensure resources and training are available locally. You will interpret schematics, follow FedEx safety standards, and lead small projects while adapting to a flexible

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics, electrical or mechanical trade or related area and an associate degree preferred.
• Six (6) years' experience in FedEx Industrial Maintenance or similar material handling systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of material handling systems.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical and PLC issues.
• Interpret schematics, manuals and engineering specs to troubleshoot faults.
• Mentor and train lower‑level technicians; develop training programs.
• Assist with project scopes and coordination across shifts.
