Allegion Access Technologies LLC places safety and reliability at the forefront as a dedicated manufacturing facility in Fontana, CA. The Maintenance Technician III role focuses on preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance of metal fabrication equipment including CNC machines, presses, welders, and forklifts.

You will collaborate with Production Leads to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associates degree and/or technical certifications are preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair of equipment such as metal shears, presses, CNC machines, and related fabrication.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and CAD drawings.
• Experience with PLCs and computer-based control systems is preferred.
• Strong safety, quality, and teamwork orientation.
• Overtime including weekends may be required.
• Ability to write detailed repair reports and maintenance procedures.

Responsabilités

• Applies electrical theory to test and modify electrical machinery and control equipment.
• Assembles and tests motor-control devices, switch panels, transformers, solenoids, and other components.
• Diagnose pneumatic and hydraulic components and systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot causes of malfunctions and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools to locate and fix issues.
• Plan layout and installation of new machinery, wiring, and fixtures.
• Inspect systems to identify hazards, defects and ensure safety code compliance.
• Advise management on hazardous operation of equipment when needed.
