Job summary

URBN is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for our Levittown-area facility to lead advanced troubleshooting, ownership of automated equipment, and reliability improvements. This senior technician will mentor other technicians and support automation systems.

Shift: Wednesday-Saturday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues across conveyors, ASRS, packaging; PLCs, VFDs, Ethernet/IP and Profinet networks; coordinating with OEMs; documenting performance in CMMS; and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in automated environments.
• Strong experience with PLCs, servo systems, and advanced electrical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of industrial networking and control systems.
• Ability to lead complex troubleshooting and maintenance efforts.
• Experience with CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and controls issues across automation systems (conveyors, sortation, ASRS, packaging).
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, servo systems, and industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
• Serve as technical owner for key systems, including advanced faults, timing, and integration issues
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement reliability improvements
• Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
• Read and interpret complex electrical schematics and system documentation
• Coordinate with OEMs and third-party vendors for advanced support
• Document maintenance activities and system performance in CMMS
• Support equipment upgrades, trials, and capital projects
• Mentor and train Maintenance Technicians I & II
