Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Linthicum Heights, MD. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week and a base pay range of $52,500 to $74,000. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliances, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure vacants are rent-ready.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance work.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Ability to accommodate an on-call schedule in rotation with the team each month.
• Ability to communicate with residents and team members to provide excellent service.
• Ability to read and follow policies and procedures, including maintenance policies and safety rules.
• Knowledge of PPE and safe handling of chemicals and cleaning supplies.
• Basic understanding of emergency systems, shutoffs, and operations.
• Familiarity with paint types and painting tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, safety systems, and related components.
• Completes service requests and repairs per standards and in a timely manner.
• Ensures vacant apartment homes are rent-ready and performs turnkey work when required.
• Performs preventative maintenance on apartment homes.
• Assists with interior and exterior painting as needed.
• Upholds safety culture and reports unsafe conditions or equipment failures.
• Performs hot works such as brazing, soldering, and welding within company standards.
