Smurfit Westrock is seeking a multi-craft maintenance technician with a strong electrical and mechanical emphasis to support our Springfield, MO facility. The role centers on electro-automation installation and troubleshooting, with a 12-hour shift and a 4-day workweek.

Candidates should have 2–3 years in electro-automation, the ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings, and experience with AC/DC drives, PLC troubleshooting, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience with electro-automation system installation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour / 4-day schedule on any shift.
• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting industrial electrical control systems.

Responsibilities

• Work a 12-hour / 4-day schedule on any shift.
• Troubleshoot electro-automation systems and install equipment.
• Operate motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, and power transmission systems.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Install and set up AC and DC drives.
• PLC troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Install/troubleshoot 3-phase motor control circuits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
