Job summary
Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Reno, NV is seeking a Sr Maintenance Technician to serve as the technical backbone of our portfolio, maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life-safety and structural systems to keep buildings safe, efficient and comfortable for tenants. This hands-on role blends preventive maintenance with quick problem-solving and requires independent work with strong teamwork.
On-site, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional on-call rotation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience maintaining and repairing mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire, life safety, and HVAC control systems in commercial facilities.
- Demonstrated proficiency with preventive maintenance programs and diagnostics.
- Strong understanding of building automation systems and CMMS/BMS usage.
- Knowledge of safe storage, handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Able to work independently within established procedures and minimize risk.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life-safety, and related systems.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance, rounds, and service requests.
- Adhere to safety standards and establish procedures to meet production schedules.
- Analyze and resolve problems, document work, and improve procedures.
- Collaborate with team, support on-call rotations, and ensure tenant satisfaction.
