Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician in Dallas, TX to keep critical building systems running smoothly. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and coordinate with contractors to ensure continuous operations.

What you bring: 2+ years in facilities maintenance, strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, and a valid driver’s license. This on-site role includes after-hours on-call rotation and safety compliance.

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or related technical field.
Working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general mechanical systems.
Valid driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and be available for after-hours emergency response and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building automation controls according to scheduled plans.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
Conduct routine inspections of building systems, safety equipment, and structural components.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records using CMMS.
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for major maintenance projects and ensure quality standards.
