Job summary

Stryten Energy in Kansas City, Missouri, is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation, repair, and optimization of manufacturing equipment including mills, punch presses, casting machines, and automated systems.

The role requires advanced electrical, mechanical, PLC troubleshooting, and fabrication skills to diagnose issues, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement across plant operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required.
• Advanced electrical and troubleshooting experience.
• PLC skills are strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; AA degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical maintenance is a plus.
• Experience as an auto tech, from technical/trade school or factory transfers to this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Conduct die changeovers, conversions, sharpening, and repairs to support consistent part quality and equipment performance.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
