Job summary

Stryten Energy is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician for our Kansas City, Kansas site. You will perform preventative maintenance, machine setup, troubleshooting, and repairs to keep plant equipment running efficiently.

Pay is $31.52 per hour with a 5:00 AM–1:30 PM shift, Monday through Friday, and occasional Saturdays. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability coverage, 401(k) with company match, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Pass maintenance assessment.
• AA degree in mechanical or industrial maintenance is a plus.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds consistently.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled comprehensive preventative maintenance on all plant-wide machinery.
• Work in a team environment to accomplish preventative maintenance projects.
• Perform mechanic skills including mechanical, pneumatic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Perform plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Use hand and power tools and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Participate in training and development programs including EH&S issues, especially handling hazardous materials and waste.
• Position requires handling scrap materials and disposable protective clothing containing lead with proper disposal as hazardous waste.
• Perform other responsibilities and duties assigned by the supervisor.

Stryten Energy is currently recruiting for a Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Group at our Kansas City, Kansas location. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, machine setup, troubleshooting, improvements, and repairs.

Pay and Hours

Pay: $31.52 per hour

Hours: 5 AM to 1:30 PM Monday through Friday, some Saturdays
