Job summary

Weinstein Properties in Cary, NC is seeking a Maintenance Assistant Supervisor to lead a service team in maintaining apartment grounds and buildings. The role involves HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general upkeep, with on-call duties and a pathway for growth.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in trades and 2+ years in supervising, plus EPA/CFC certification and HVAC hands-on experience. Will schedule and oversee both in-house and vendor work, with opportunities for advancement and internal

Qualifications

4+ years of trade-related experience with at least 2 years in apartment maintenance supervisory roles.
Strong working knowledge of building maintenance.
EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification (Type I and II or Universal) required.
Hands-on HVAC repair experience is required.
Computer skills to use business software to assign and manage work orders, schedule turns, order supplies and communicate via email.

Responsibilities

Assist with managing and coordinating activities of a service team to maintain property upkeep, inventory and repairs.
Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural and appliances.
Schedule and supervise all in-house and vendor work; share on-call duties with team.
