Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will respond to resident work orders and perform routine upkeep across the community.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, tool proficiency, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed. Valid driver’s license and EPA certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trades.
• Must be knowledgeable and skilled in safe use of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the source of defects and perform repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Oversee and complete make-ready for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, buildings, and common areas.
• Periodically inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and safety.
• Assist Community Manager with budgeting for repairs and maintenance.
