Job summary

Flint Group in Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations and ensure a safe, reliable manufacturing environment. This role focuses on equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, capital projects, and regulatory compliance while supporting production objectives.

You will mentor maintenance staff, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement through SOPs, VWIs, and KPIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and maximize product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years manufacturing management experience.
• 2+ years in an ink or chemical manufacturing environment preferred.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and CI methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Maximize equipment uptime through preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Support production schedules with a customer-first mindset.
• Provide leadership and coaching to maintenance personnel.
• Manage maintenance and capital improvement projects end-to-end.
• Develop and audit SOPs and VWIs.
• Mentor team and promote continuous improvement.
• Monitor KPIs and report on asset reliability.
• Coordinate activities in a fast-paced environment and manage budgets and spare parts.
• Respond to emergencies and work outside hours when needed.
