Job summary

Texas Hydraulics is seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance organization supporting our manufacturing operations in Temple, Texas. This role is responsible for improving equipment reliability, machine availability, facility performance, and maintenance effectiveness while supporting safety, quality, delivery, and financial objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive maintenance experience in heavy industrial or discrete manufacturing.
• Experience leading maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, controls, machining, welding, and facility systems.
• Experience with CMMS; Asset Essentials preferred.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Maintenance Planner and team, with safety, accountability, responsiveness, and performance expectations.
• Develop and execute maintenance strategies aligned with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering priorities.
• Establish and track maintenance KPIs including availability, uptime, OEE, MTBF, MTTR, PM compliance, and costs.
• Strengthen preventive, predictive, condition-based, and TPM programs to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Analyze CMMS data to identify trends, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Lead root cause analysis, 5-Why investigations, and corrective actions for chronic or significant equipment failures.
• Champion TPM, Lean Manufacturing, standardized work, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide strategic oversight of daily maintenance activities and budget/capital planning with Manufacturing Engineering.
