Job summary

Kubota is seeking a senior Maintenance Mechanical Technician to safely plan and independently execute maintenance, repair, and modification of complex machinery. This role emphasizes advanced troubleshooting, TPM principles, and adherence to 5S workplace standards.

You will lead maintenance activities, mentor junior technicians, diagnose mechanical issues, install equipment, and perform basic electrical work. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a stable manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in mechanical systems, schematics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Knowledge of electrical start/stop circuits, relays and motor starters.
• Ability to perform electrical load calculations and interpret drawings.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan and perform maintenance, repair and modification of complex equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues including disassembly and reassembly.
• Maintain conveyors, paint systems and chemical processing equipment with minimal supervision.
• Interpret sketches, drawings, schematics and instructions to perform work.
• Lead 5S housekeeping audits and support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 initiatives.
• Install equipment including air, gas and rigging systems and perform basic electrical work.
• Mentor junior technicians and support skill development within the team.
