Job summary

The Wine Group is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic 2 to perform maintenance and repair on plant equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and oversee delegated projects. You will weld using MIG, TIG, and stick methods, fabricate parts, and train others on equipment and skills.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of experience, strong knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic systems, electrical schematics, and refrigeration systems, plus safety and CMMS proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older at time of hire.
• 5+ years’ experience as Maintenance Mechanic, or equivalent role.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English; interpret written work orders and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced welding on equipment.
• Fabrication of parts, brackets, and mechanical items.
• Repair and troubleshoot ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic systems, motors, and pumps.
• Read electrical schematics and wire/repair multiple voltages.
• Work with PLC systems at a basic level.
• Maintain CMMS and update work orders accurately.
• Operate safely and adhere to plant safety rules.
