Job summary

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electromechanical and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose problems and identify defective components.

Job description

Union Beverage Packers is looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic

• 2 year minimum experience in a packaging plant or similar
• Solid knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulics, rotating equipment, welding, use of machine and tools.
• Must read electromechanical / mechanical drawings.
• Basic knowledge of AC/DC Drives, 3 phase motors, AC transformers etc.
• Basic knowledge of PLC, sensors, measuring instrumentation.
• Must have good knowledge of safety standards.

Installing, repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment including but not limited to logical diagnosis of problems, identification of defective components, dis-assembly of equipment, replacement of defective components and reassembly and start-up of machinery and equipment.
