Job summary

Richmond Beverage Solutions, a DFA company, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. You will perform planned and unplanned maintenance on production, packaging, and utility systems, read schematics, install new equipment, and train operators.

Strong troubleshooting, welding, and documentation skills are essential. Two to four years of related experience are preferred; electrical, HVAC, and PLC/HMI familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade or technical schooling in electrical systems, PLC/HMI preferred.
• 2–4 years in maintenance, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or related systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on production, processing, packaging, and utility equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and work orders.
• Support installation of new equipment and training of operators.
• Complete work orders accurately and timely.
• Utilize hand tools, meters, and material handling equipment.
• Document repairs and maintain records per SOPs.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation requirements are met.
