Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Senior Maintenance Mechanic / PLC Technician to support production operations in a high-volume food manufacturing environment. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated production and packaging equipment to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, PLC diagnostics, and the ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PLC diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of motors, VFDs, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automated equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with packaging, conveying, and high-speed production equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production and packaging equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC-related issues.
• Support equipment reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
