Job summary

The Judge Group, INC. is seeking a Senior Maintenance Mechanic / PLC Technician to support high-volume food production in Queens, NY. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated production and packaging equipment to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, PLC diagnostics, reading electrical schematics and drawings, and experience with high-speed packaging equipment. Shift is 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM EST; compensation range is $80k–$100k.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PLC diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with packaging, conveying, and high-speed production equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production and packaging equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC-related issues.
• Support equipment reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
