Job summary

RectorSeal, a CSW Industrials company, seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment at our Houston, TX facility. The role supports daily operations, troubleshoots issues, and ensures safe, efficient equipment performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance/technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, PLC and motor control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret piping and electrical schematics.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to work independently and with plant associates and supervisors.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to read SDS (Safety Data Sheets).

Responsibilities

• Assess safety requirements before maintenance or repair work.
• Perform repairs, replacements, and installations of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Complete maintenance tasks on time while ensuring quality.
• Coordinate with production supervisors to minimize downtime.
• Document maintenance activities and repair logs.
• Identify safety, reliability, and productivity improvements.
