Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking aMaintenance Technician to join our production team. The role focuses on trouble shooting, calibration, and repair of production equipment to keep lines running, along with scheduled preventive maintenance and tool selection for efficient operation.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in industrial maintenance, strong electrical/PLC skills, and a safety-first mindset with teamwork across shifts. This position is on-site at our facility in North Carolina.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or equivalent.
Maintenance Program Certification or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance in production.
Proficiency in electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, PM, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyors, hydraulics, and pumps.
Electrical installations up to 480V and below.
Experience diagnosing 24V controls systems and devices.
Strong collaboration with production teams and safety mindset.
Problem solving and critical thinking; teamwork.
Basic math, MS Word/Excel/Outlook.
Familiar with PPE, LOTO, Arc Flash; safety culture.

Responsibilities

Trouble shoot, calibrate, and repair production equipment to keep lines operational.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and replace worn components.
Read and interpret manuals, drawings, schematics, blueprints, and work orders.
Disassemble and repair machines, install parts per specs and blueprints.
Calibrate and adjust various devices and control systems.
Understand facilities and mechanical/electrical systems and troubleshoot accordingly.
Assist maintenance and production teams to support plant goals.
Determine tools and equipment needed for tasks.
