Job summary

Starbucks Corp. is seeking a Senior Maintenance Mechanic to lead the maintenance team in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

You will ensure equipment reliability, mentor technicians, and participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment. You should have extensive experience in automated manufacturing, strong electrical/mechanical skills, and a proven ability to troubleshoot complex plant systems while prioritizing safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 7 years in automated manufacturing or distribution environments.
• 7 years experience in general industrial maintenance, mechanical and electrical systems.
• High school diploma or US military service or equivalent.
• Ability to work varying shifts including nights or weekends.
• Proficient in welding, plumbing, electrical, machining and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Guide the maintenance team and support all maintenance department activities as needed.
• Coach and mentor maintenance mechanics and technicians to ensure their development and understanding of current and new technology.
• Provide subject matter expertise for maintenance of all plant equipment and processes.
• Assist with the installation of all new equipment including training material, spare parts, PMs and documentation.
• Complete plant work orders and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure all plant equipment is functioning at optimum levels and perform short- and long-term improvements.
• Follow safety guidelines and support food safety, legality and quality programs.
