Job summary

Peet’s Coffee is seeking a Maintenance Manager for the Brooklyn Center Roasting Plant to lead a team of maintenance technicians, drive reliability, safety, and preventive maintenance, and partner with plant leadership to meet production goals.

The role requires 5+ years in maintenance leadership, a mechanical/electrical engineering background, CMMS experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills to ensure regulatory readiness and cost-efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience administering CMMS for work orders, asset tracking, and planning.
• Strong troubleshooting in mechanical and electrical systems; safety culture advocate.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a maintenance team to ensure safe, compliant, high-quality execution.
• Own equipment uptime by partnering with leadership to implement improvements.
• Lead capital planning and collaborate with vendors, engineers, and Plant Engineer.
• Direct installation, start-up, CQV standards, and regulatory readiness.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance, CMMS efficiency, and parts control.
• Manage maintenance budget, inventory, and service contracts; control costs.
• Coordinate external service providers to ensure timely resolutions.
