Job summary

International Paper is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across a high-volume facility. You will troubleshoot a range of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems while maintaining safe work practices.

The role requires reading blueprints and instructions, using hand and power tools, and regularly documenting repairs and parts movement. Weekend shifts may be required to support production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with experience in general machine and fitting shop practice, welding, maintenance troubleshooting, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and pipefitting.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and read measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety work procedures and practices at all times.
• Perform preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, upgrading, and installation.
• Repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam systems and related equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and assist others as needed.
• Record repairs, parts movement, and time electronically.
• Work independently or in a team to meet production goals.
