Job summary

NEXPERA is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Richmond, VA to lead the maintenance organization, drive safety and reliability, and oversee a team including E&I technicians and multi-craft mechanics.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3+ years of supervisory experience, strong planning skills, and proficiency in SAP and maintenance budgeting. On-site work with potential travel and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with significant maintenance/operations experience in chemical/petrochemical environments.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Experience with PSM guidelines and HazWoper/HazMat training preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proven teamwork.
• Strong technical maintenance background with planning and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Sustain the maintenance organization and support safety, health, and environmental performance.
• Lead maintenance work management processes and improve efficiency, consistency, and quality.
• Develop maintenance schedules and allocate staff to meet timelines.
• Manage maintenance spending, contracts, and materials, including TARs and capex.
• Oversee contractors and site security; back up Operations Manager as needed.
