Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager for the McDonough Distribution Center in Georgia. You will lead a team across a split shift to keep automated material-handling equipment and facility systems running at peak uptime, focusing on reliability and safety.

You will own preventive maintenance programs, monitor KPIs, and manage budgets and vendors while driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive maintenance/reliability experience in high-throughput distribution, warehouse-automation, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance supervisors and technicians across a split-shift operation to ensure full equipment coverage.
• Foster a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with EHS, OSHA, LOTO, and site safety standards.
• Own reliability of PLC-controlled systems (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens) and conveyors, sorters, robotics, RFID systems.
• Direct troubleshooting and rapid recovery to minimize downtime and protect order throughput.
• Oversee maintenance and reliability of facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting.
• Manage building envelopes, roofing, flooring, doors, and construction/repair projects; oversee third-party vendors.
