Job summary

Simmons Prepared Foods Inc. is seeking a maintenance leader at our Southwest City, MO facility. The role directs a technical team of Mechanics, Technicians and Maintenance Planners to drive reliability and optimize maintenance across packaging, process, and utilities.

The position focuses on developing a world-class maintenance program, with emphasis on preventive and predictive maintenance, KPI tracking, and cost control. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience supervising or leading maintenance employees.
• Knowledge of mechanical and refrigeration systems, electrical safety, and PSM.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Industry: food manufacturing preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or 4 years related maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the maintenance team to reduce downtime and drive reliability.
• Lead the implementation of a planned maintenance system across site operations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance in health, safety and environmental standards.
• Manage budgets for maintenance and repair operations and capital projects.
