Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations in Escalon, CA. The role focuses on improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and driving accountability while staying engaged with production and operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, troubleshooting ability, and experience with regulated industrial environments, including ammonia refrigeration and PSM compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proven ability to drive preventive maintenance and PM improvements.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls.
• Experience with OSHA safety and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems and PSM compliance.
• Leadership of maintenance teams and contractor/vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians across daily plant operations.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs, work orders, and reliability initiatives.
• Coordinate labor scheduling, technician assignments, and weekly payroll approvals.
• Support production by minimizing downtime and responding to equipment failures with urgency.
• Troubleshoot and support mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related issues.
• Improve PM effectiveness, spare parts organization, and maintenance documentation.
• Collaborate with operations and quality teams to improve plant performance.
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage outside vendors, contractors, and OEM relationships.
