Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations, improve equipment reliability, and support a fast-paced production environment. You will guide technicians, prioritize downtime issues, and drive accountability while staying engaged with plant operations.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, troubleshooting ability, and experience in regulated industrial manufacturing environments, including ammonia refrigeration systems.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) programs and compliance requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting background in industrial equipment and plant systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance systems, inventory/spare parts management, and maintenance planning.
• Ability to communicate effectively with plant leadership and maintenance personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians across daily plant operations.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs, work orders, and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Coordinate labor scheduling, technician assignments, and weekly payroll approvals.
• Support production by minimizing downtime and responding to equipment failures with urgency.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related equipment issues.
• Improve PM effectiveness, spare parts organization, and maintenance documentation.
• Work closely with operations and quality teams to improve overall plant performance.
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage outside vendors, contractors, and OEM relationships.
• Participate in capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Support and maintain PSM-related programs and procedures.
• Oversee ammonia refrigeration maintenance activities and contractor coordination.
• Develop and mentor maintenance personnel while building accountability within the department.
