Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience with supervisory responsibility in a dairy or food and beverage facility.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; knowledge of 480V electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, boilers and CIP.
• Experience with budgeting and inventory management for MRO parts.
• Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and validate PM schedules to ensure reliable operation of processing, pasteurization, and packaging lines.
• Supervise, mentor, and schedule maintenance technicians; assign daily tasks, review performance, identify training needs.
• Enforce FDA/USDA/OSHA guidelines; ensure repairs meet sanitary design and food safety standards.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns; diagnose root causes, assign mechanics, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor MRO parts inventory; track expenditures and manage department budgets.
