Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Santa Monica, CA to oversee preventive maintenance for property and equipment, monitor life safety systems, and ensure compliance with codes to protect guests and assets.

You will supervise hiring and training, schedule PM programs, prioritize requests, test safety systems, monitor utilities, and assist in department administration to ensure smooth operations and safety for guests and staff.

Qualifications

Able to identify safety hazards and security concerns in hotel environment.
Skilled in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywalling, painting, plumbing, roofing and landscaping.

Responsibilities

Interview, hire, train, evaluate and discipline staff as needed.
Implement and schedule preventive maintenance per standards and codes.
Prioritize service requests and oversee service performance for safety and guest convenience.
Test and maintain life safety systems to ensure 100% operation.
Monitor utility consumption to assess system effectiveness.
Review purchase requests and manage department budget and expenses.
Prepare schedules, logs and documentation to ensure smooth operation.
Maintain regular attendance and be available as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
