Job summary

Avanti Sl in Flower Mound, TX, is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee quality maintenance of the community and its grounds. You will lead a team to ensure safe operations and exceptional appearance, while complying with Federal, State, and Local regulations.

You will document preventative maintenance, supervise housekeeping, refurbish apartments for move-ins, manage safety records, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in written and verbal English.
• Ability to establish long-term relationships.
• Interest in working with older adults.
• Strong computer skills; able to use Word/Excel and database software.

Responsibilities

• Implement and document preventative maintenance program for the community and equipment.
• Supervise housekeeping personnel as required by community needs.
• Maintain grounds including lawn care and coordination with landscaper and waste removal services.
• Maintain all interior areas including offices; cleaning, carpet and vinyl floor upkeep.
• Oversee repair of facility equipment to ensure proper function.
• Train team members on equipment use and emergency procedures.
