Job summary
Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Manager of Maintenance and Engineering to oversee maintenance, reliability, facilities, and plant engineering at a Dallas-area manufacturing site focused on animal health products. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team and drive plant reliability in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
The role emphasizes preventive/predictive maintenance, capital project management, safety and environmental compliance, and continuous improvement using Lean, TPM, and Six
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering; 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance/engineering.
- Proven leadership and CMMS experience; familiarity with PLCs/SCADA/instrumentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams to execute maintenance strategies.
- Develop preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Manage capital projects from scoping to commissioning.
- Ensure safety and environmental compliance across the site.
- Collaborate with operations, quality, safety, and supply chain to align priorities.
- Oversee budgets, spare parts, vendor performance, and technical documentation.
- Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and equipment upgrades to improve reliability.
