Job summary

Westfall Technik, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the availability and reliability of plastic injection molding equipment. You will lead corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance and drive continuous improvement to meet OEE targets.

Candidates should have deep knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with PLC/automation experience, and be capable of leading TPM and Kaizen initiatives within a production environment. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in plastic injection machinery maintenance.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience in PLC programming and automation systems is preferred.
• Experience with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or Six Sigma is desirable.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to diagnose complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead corrective and preventive maintenance on plastic injection molding machines and auxiliaries.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures.
• Develop and implement PM/TPM/RCM maintenance plans and continuous improvement projects.
• Monitor KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, OEE) and prepare weekly/monthly performance reports.
• Collaborate with Production, Tool Room, and Projects to ensure rapid mold startups and releases.
