Job summary

MME group Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service injection molding equipment in our Brooksville, FL facility. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, and minimizing downtime to support production goals.

You will read schematics, perform diagnostics, and implement corrective actions, with a strong emphasis on safety and record-keeping. 3+ years of experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting injection molding equipment and auxiliary systems.
• Knowledge of electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain injection molding presses, robots, conveyors, chillers, dryers, grinders, temperature controllers, and material handling systems.
• Install, modify, and upgrade manufacturing equipment as needed.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Support mold changes and assist production personnel with equipment-related issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend improvements to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts inventory.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to address equipment performance issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve productivity.

Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting injection molding equipment and auxiliary systems.
• Knowledge of electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electronics, or related field.
• Experience with RJG, scientific molding, or process monitoring systems.
• PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
• Knowledge of robotic automation systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance software (CMMS).
• Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around moving machinery and manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or on-call as needed to support production.

Work Environment

• This position operates in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, heat, and moving equipment. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.
