Job summary

Elderly Housing Development & Operations Corporation (EHDOC) is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead maintenance operations across a national portfolio of affordable senior housing. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient performance while partnering with regional managers and third-party vendors.

The role focuses on strategic maintenance leadership, preventive maintenance programs, and capital improvement planning to protect resident assets and drive quality housing

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience.
• 6+ years leading multi-site maintenance teams.
• Experience managing affordable/senior/multifamily housing or related properties.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement company-wide maintenance standards and best practices.
• Lead maintenance operations for a multi-state portfolio of affordable senior housing communities.
• Establish preventive maintenance programs to maximize asset life and reduce emergencies.
• Coordinate capital improvement projects and asset preservation initiatives.
• Monitor budgets, vendor contracts, and performance metrics.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and training across field teams.
