Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) seeks a senior Mainframe Storage Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise storage across IBM DS8000, FlashSystem, and GPFS. The role focuses on availability, resiliency, and recoverability for critical business functions in multi-data center environments.

The candidate will lead complex storage modernization initiatives, coordinate with security and risk teams, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring regulatory compliance and robust incident

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience with 5+ years of storage engineering experience.
5+ years supporting IBM Z and z/OS storage environments.
Experience in incident, change, risk and compliance management in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, administer and optimize enterprise storage solutions across IBM DS8000, FlashSystem, and GPFS.
Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning including replication and testing.
Provide architectural standards, runbooks, and mentoring across Enterprise Storage.
