Job summary

Bank of America in Jersey City seeks an experienced mainframe storage specialist to support 7x24 operations and complex I/O environments. The role focuses on designing infrastructure tools, optimizing performance, and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

7+ years hands-on mainframe storage experience.
Experience in 24x7, mission-critical production environments.
Knowledge of z/OS I/O components and storage concepts.
Ability to work with z/OS systems programmers.

Responsibilities

Provide SME consulting on technologies and ensure compliance with standards.
Translate business requirements into technical definitions and playbooks for deployment.
Evaluate reference models and ensure fit-for-purpose designs.
Develop software solutions to automate manual/inefficient processes.
Conduct on-site evaluations of third-party products considered for adoption.
Promote inclusive, healthy work environment and resolve blockers.
Contribute to functional/non-functional product evaluation requirements.
