Job summary

Fidelity Investments in Roanoke, TX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support mainframe infrastructure (MQ, CICS, DB2) across two active sites. You will contribute to mission-critical software and participate in on-call rotations within the MAI team.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of mainframe experience, familiarity with COBOL/DB2/VSAM, and a collaborative, Agile mindset. Onsite work model is in effect for many roles.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2+ years of mainframe development with CICS, DB2, MQ.
• Experience designing, building, deploying, and supporting mainframe apps.
• Familiar with CICS, COBOL, VSAM, MQ, SQL.
• Knowledge of Assembler, REXX, JCL, JAVA, Control-M a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MQ and multi-site infrastructure software used across the brokerage platform.
• Participate in on-call rotation for all team-owned software.
• Collaborate with team leads and stakeholders to prioritize backlog and plan major initiatives.
• Support mission-critical software processing millions of transactions daily.
