Job summary
Kyndryl in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe DevOps Engineer to lead build, deployment, and automation across mainframe environments. You will optimize Endevor/ISPW/ChangeMan workflows, strengthen SDLC controls, and integrate with CI/CD tooling to deliver reliable releases.
Candidates bring 5–10+ years in mainframe development, strong COBOL/Assembler/REXX skills, and hands-on experience with JCL, TSO/ISPF, and IBM z/OS.
Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of mainframe experience.
- Hands-on with Endevor / ChangeMan / ISPW.
- Experience with JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF.
- Knowledge of DevOps concepts applied to mainframe.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain mainframe development toolchains.
- Promote adoption of DevOps practices for mainframe development.
- Develop and maintain automated build and deployment processes.
- Automate release management across environments (DEV–QA–UAT–PROD).
- Administer enterprise deployment tools (Endevor, ChangeMan, ISPW).
- Coordinate deployments with application teams, QA and operations.
