Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Systems Programmer to shape the foundation of our mainframe environments. You will develop, test and maintain operating system software and guide key technologies to keep systems secure and efficient.

You will lead problem solving, contribute to architecture decisions, and mentor teams while ensuring smooth operation across national and international efforts. A strong focus on RCA and continual improvement is required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in z/OS operating system installation, maintenance, configuration, and support.
• Experience with z/OS subsystems (JES2 required, SMS, RACF/ACF2), IBM program products, and standard mainframe ISV/OEM software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and influence complex mainframe systems programming initiatives.
• Provide RCA discussions and ongoing technical guidance to lead professional teams.
