Job summary

Northern Base is seeking a Mainframe Developer for an onsite role in Pennington, NJ. The candidate will work with COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM and SQL in a mainframe environment, handling batch processes and data services.

The position requires a Bachelor's or Masters in CS or related field and 7+ years of hands-on mainframe experience, with familiarity in Endevor, Changeman, File Manager, and SPUFI. Visa USC/GC only.

Qualifications

• Primary skill set includes COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM.
• Strong SQL querying and DB performance optimization.
• Experience building batch programs and stored procedures.

Responsibilities

• Should have very good experience in writing complex SQL queries, optimizing database performance, and building batch programs and stored procedures.
