Job summary

SFE is seeking a Mainframe Developer to join a multi-location team (Pennington, NJ; Addison, TX; Charlotte, NC; Jacksonville, FL). This full-time role requires hands-on mainframe expertise with COBOL, DB2, JCL, and VSAM, plus strong SQL skills. 7+ years of experience and a degree in CS or related field are required.

Agile knowledge and finance domain are a plus. Locations include Pennington, Addison, Charlotte, and Jacksonville, with full-time on-site work expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Hands on experience working in mainframes technology.
• Required skills are COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM.
• Should have very good experience in writing complex SQL queries, optimizing database performance, and building batch programs and stored procedures.
• Should have worked on Endevor, Changeman, File manager, SPUFI.
