Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience supporting IBM CICS Transaction Server on z/OS.
• Deep knowledge of CICS architecture, region management, and initialization.
• Strong production troubleshooting with dumps, traces, logs, and RCA.
• Experience with change, incident, and problem management in high availability environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage IBM CICS software and resources on z/OS.
• Monitor CICS regions, tune performance, and balance workloads for high availability.
• Troubleshoot incidents using dumps, traces, and RCA to identify root causes.
• Support application teams with CICS deployments and coordinate with related teams.
• Oversee change controls, DR testing, audits, on-call rotations, and automation tasks.
