Qualifications

• 7+ years IBM System Z experience and core tooling knowledge.
• 5+ years IBM DB2 experience with data sharing and recovery.
• Strong problem solving and pressure handling.
• Experience with SMP/E installation and RACF/ACF2/TopSecret.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain DB2 z/OS with SMP/E and third-party products.
• Configure DB2 groups and subsystems in SYSPLEX data sharing.
• Analyze and resolve DB2 system issues under pressure.
• Tune performance and manage backups and DR strategies.
• Maintain DB2 Catalog and directory; document procedures.
• Provide secondary support to the DBA team; ensure security.
