Ensono seeks a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer specialized in Automation to advance automation across platforms like Envision X, AIR, Sidekick, OPS/MVS, and zOSMF. The role emphasizes building scalable automation, bridging tools with business needs, and proactive problem management within a remote-capable team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive mainframe experience, strong coding and DevOps mindset, and the ability to deliver automation-driven improvements in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in computer science or related field with 10 years' development experience preferred.
• Strong client-focused mindset and ability to build quality solutions via technology.
• Motivated by solving complex problems and improving tool performance via automation.
• Curious and eager to learn, sees challenges as opportunities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence and build trusted relationships.
• Minimum NetView SA experience is required.

• Design automation for different platforms within Mainframe Automation.
• Bridge tool capabilities with business requirements for a superior client experience.
• Automate corrective steps to reduce human intervention for alert types.
